THE MYRTLE

BEER GARDEN

THE MYRTLE

The Myrtle beer garden is the perfect place to go to enjoy a drink among beautiful surroundings set on the edge of the woods it is a peaceful oasis, despite being only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Meanwood.

We take great pride in tending the garden and we are constantly adding new features – this years new additions include our wildlife pond, greenhouse and potting sheds along with our stunning garden marquee which is proving to be a popular venue for private parties.

We welcome well-behaved children to the garden and have a lovely, well-maintained play area for them to enjoy. We also have pet rabbits called Benjy & Flopsy who are very popular and have their own little garden.

PLAY AREA

Our play area and wendy houses are open all year round and children are welcome until 8pm.

The garden is a perfect pit-stop for people on the popular Meanwood Valley Trail to rest and enjoy a refreshing drink (and maybe a picnic!) before continuing on their way.

NO SMOKING

Our beer garden is a non smoking area however, our patio area with picnic benches plus a purpose built sheltered smoking area, located outside the front of the pub are designated smoking zones.
